We have a new session starting on January 23 and will run through February 27. The session book series is called the The Legend of the Circle Maker by Mark Batterson. For this lesson, you will need your book, a notepad, and a pen.
The book can be purchased online via Amazon. If you are a member of The Worship Center Christian Church in Birmingham, AL. This book can be purchased in the on-campus bookstore.

What is Soap?
S.O.A.P. stands for Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer. It is a way of getting more out of your time in God’s word.
Scripture
Write the verse or verses that spoke to you during your reading.
Observation
Write down what the context of the scripture is? What is happening? Who is it happening to? Why is it happening?
Application
How does the scripture and observation apply to what is happening to you or in your environment currently.
Prayer
Write a prayer to God based on what you just learned and ask Him to help you apply this truth in your life.
